Debra first created this piece over 10 years ago. It has gone through many evolutions to where it is today.  Cranes are so elegant in their form and as she worked through the technical problems of creating this piece, the sculptural aspect of the birds were ever evolving as they became taller and more graceful. Each lid is sculpted porcelain. The “foliage series” are first hand thrown and then carved.   Lid and vessel are crystalline and metallic glazed.

                   The pieces below are sold but can be custom ordered. As they are each hand thrown and sculpted there will be slight variances in shape, color and crystalline markings.
