This is my very last Foliage Design Shadow Dancers.  This piece is pretty awesome...if I say so my self!
Glazed with an aquamarine crystalline glaze that highlights the carved leaves. Yes this is all porcelain. The metallic is a glaze that I highlighted post firing with a gold patina. I started creating the Shadow Dancers series about 14 years ago. Through a lot of trial and error with the sculpted lid not working... a simple solution presented itself. It was one of my best selling pieces in my career... but now it's time to retire it.
