Trying a little different glaze, this has a nice warm tone. The glass lid has a 2 tones of glass... something I did on purpose with the casting. You can see how the 2 different colors danced around each other in the casting. The casting process of glass is very similar to casting bronze...although instead of pouring molten bronze, the glass melts down into a mold very slowly and is cooled over 30 hours. Once out of the kiln, the mold is knocked off the glass sculpture...very carefully.
